PROGRAM NO. 7
FUN IN THE SUN (Recommended for families)

Day 01
Arrival to Juan Santamaría International airport, a bilingual driver-guide will be waiting for you to take you to their hotel. Your clients will receive a welcome-orientation kit that will include maps, hotel descriptions and, a comprehensive itinerary as well as emergency contact numbers. Meals on your own. Overnight at the Bouganvillea Hotel.

Day 02
After an early breakfast, transfer to the airport for a local flight to Liberia, located in Guanacaste province. Upon arrival a 45 minutes drive will take you to Rincon de la Vieja National Park and Volcano. Check-in at Buena Vista Lodge. Afternoon for optional activities such as canopy tour, horseback riding, or why, not sliding on a ½ mile water slide. Overnight at Buena Vista Lodge.

Day 03
You will start this day with a vigorous hike on the active volcano slopes to finish with a mud bath and thermal waters on the local spa. Overnight at Buena Vista Lodge.

Day 04
Early ground transfer from Rincon de la Vieja to Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve. On the way, visit to the Wild Cats Shelter. Upon arrival, check-in at Fonda Vela Hotel and afternoon visit to Santa Elena town. Optional visit to the Serpentarium, Cheese Factory etc.

Day 05
Full day to explore Monteverde, visit to the Monteverde Reserve and optional visits to the Sky-walk (hanging bridges etc). Overnight at Fonda Vela Hotel.

Day 06
Morning transfer to your next destination, Punta Leona. This resort contains, apart from numerous facilities for water sports, one of the prettiest beaches in the country. Check-in upon arrival. Rest of the afternoon free to enjoy. Overnight at Selva Mar Hotel, located in Punta Leona.

Day 07
Full day at leisure at Punta Leona. Overnight at Selva Mar Hotel.

Day 08
Morning free to enjoy Punta Leona. Afternoon transfer to San Jose. Check-in and overnight at Bougainvillea Hotel.

Day 09
Early transfer to the airport for your flight back home.
