UNKOWN COSTA RICA
Day 01
Arrival to Juan Santamaría International airport, a bilingual driver-guide will be waiting for you to take you to their hotel. Your clients will receive a welcome-orientation kit that will include maps, hotel descriptions and, a comprehensive itinerary as well as emergency contact numbers. Meals on your own. Overnight at the Alta Hotel.
Day 02
Early transfer to the local airport for a short flight to Palmar town where a local transfer will take you immediately to the Sierpe River; for a two hours boat tour; the first part on the river, surrounded by mangroves and wildlife, and the second part on the ocean. Upon arrival to Corcovado National Park, check in at Casa Corcovado located on the North border of this beautiful National Park, considered one of the most diverse and rich of the tropical rainforest. All meals and tours are included on this remote but comfortable and even rustic/deluxe property.
Day 03 & Day 04
Two complete days to enjoy and explore the area including not only hiking and exploring the rich rainforest but also enjoying swimming on the crystal clear rivers and the isolated beaches. All meals included overnight at Casa Corcovado.
Day 05
Flight back to San Jose to connect with a ground transfer to the beautiful hotel and plantation, Casa Turire. This hotel is built on a perfect look-out point to see the Reventazón River and the artificial lake built to produce electricity. Afternoon free to explore this plantation either on foot or horseback riding. You can also simply relax on the beautiful gardens and the swimming pool. Overnight at Casa Turire Hotel.
Day 06
After a day of relaxation and pampering, the adventure continues with a white water rafting trip on the famous Pacuare River, considered one of the top 5 rivers in the world for white water rafting and scenic beauty. This river starts with a class III rafting. You will arrive to the rustic lodge in the middle of Pacuare Reserve. In the afternoon, upon arrival to the lodge, a canopy tour will be included. All meals and overnight at the Pacuare River Lodge.
Day 07
Breakfast and then continue rafting the Class IV section of Pacuare. After your rafting adventure finishes, you will be driven back to San Jose, crossing the beautiful Braulio Carrillo National Park. Check-in and overnight at Alta Hotel.
Day 08
Transfer early in the morning to the airport or optional beach extension to Guanacaste area for a couple of days. Tamarindo beach will be the perfect place to relax and enjoy.
