Golden & Dreamy Costa Rica
Day 01
Arrival to Juan Santamaría International airport, a bilingual driver-guide will be waiting for you to take you to their hotel. Your clients will receive a welcome-orientation kit that will include maps, hotel descriptions and, a comprehensive itinerary as well as emergency contact numbers. Meals on your own. Overnight at the Bougainvillea Hotel.
Day 02
After an early breakfast included at your hotel, your guide will pick you up to take on an exploration journey of San Jose downtown. This informal city tour will take you not only to some of the most attractive buildings and museums, but also to our local shops and markets to spend time with Costa Ricans and learn about our culture. After a typical lunch in one of our local restaurants, a driver will take you to your next destination, Sarapiquí. Upon arrival at the Sarapiquí Neotropical Center you will check in, and in the afternoon you will have time to explore the rainforest and for other activities. Overnight at Sarapiquí Neotropical Center.
Day 03
During the morning, you will have the opportunity to enjoy a floating trip on the Sarapiqui River, recently declared as Natural Heritage of Costa Rica. This is the best way to see wildlife, or you may also enjoy a more exciting section during a white water rafting trip (Class III). Return to the hotel in the afternoon for optional activities, or just relaxing at the hotel swimming pool. Overnight at Sarapiquí Neotropical Center.
Day 04
After breakfast at the hotel, direct transfer to Arenal Volcano area. It is one of the most active volcanoes in the world and has a perfect cone. If weather permits, this volcano, offers a unique show of lava flows and big eruptions of incandescent rocks and ashes. Upon arrival, check-in at your hotel and visit the thermal waters and spa to enjoy a day of relaxation. Overnight at Montaña de Fuego Hotel.
Day 05
Breakfast and a visit to Arenal Volcano National Park are included on this day to continue driving to the Central Pacific to enjoy a beautiful beach hotel, Villa Lapas, for the next couple of days. Upon arrival, check-in at Villa Lapas, and rest of the day will be free to relax and enjoy this wonderful property. Overnight at Villa Lapas.
Day 06
Complete day to relax and enjoy Villa Lapas. Optional activities are available upon request at the hotel. Overnight at Villa Lapas.
Day 07
Another day to enjoy this beautiful property, and late afternoon return to San Jose for overnight at a hotel near the airport. Overnight at the Bougainvillea Hotel.
Day 08
Transfer to the airport.
