ITINERARY
Day 1 Arrival
A Costa Rica Cheap Travel representative will be waiting for you at the international airport for your transfer to a San Jose Hotel, where you are going to receive a short briefing of the itinerary and the documents or vouchers for your trip. You will be staying at Grand Hotel Costa Rica. It is located in the heart of San Jose. This hotel is a land mark because it was the first International Hotel in Costa Rica. It was built in the 1930’s, is really beautiful and is very close to the National Theater, National Museum and Gold Museum.
Day 2 & 3 Tortuguero National Park Rainforest Adventure
Today we are going to send you to Tortuguero, bordered by the Caribbean Sea, Toruguero National Park contains an incredible network of navigable canals, and boats are the only way to get around. It is also famous for its deep-sea fishing and the Tortuguero canals, a complex of inland rivers that criss-cross mangrove forests. For the next two days you will have the opportunity of visit one of the hot spots for birdwatching and ecotourism, a three days/two nights package, with the local tours included, you will be amazed of these great experience. Overnight at Mawamba Lodge.
Day 4 & 5 Selva Verde Lodge
On the way back to San Jose you are going to stop at Rio Danta Restaurant where your private transfer is going to take you to Selva Verde Lodge. This lodge is amazing for birdwatching and horseback riding. It has a lot of activities to do.
Day 6 Arenal Volcano area and Baldi Hot springs
After lunch your private transfer is going to take you to the Arenal Volcano famous for its nighttime lava fireworks, Arenal Volcano towers above a lovely lake of the same name. The thermal springs near Baldi offer a refreshing dip any time of the day. The volcano itself rumbles frequently and, if not socked in the clouds, is very impressive - and just a tad exciting. You will be staying for one night at Arenal Volcano Inn. We include dinner and entrance to Baldi Hot springs.
Day 7 & 8 Monteverde Cloud Forest area
Early in the morning your shuttle transfer will take you to Monteverde Cloud Forest area, it’s the most famous cloud forest in the world. The Tropical Science Center administrates the reserve and most of the times you can see a lot of birds and animal. The Monteverde area has dozens of activities to do like the zip lining, frog ponds, snake farms, hanging bridges in the forest and many more. We include you for the second day a guided tour to the Monteverde Cloud Forest. Overnight at El Establo Hotel.
Day 9 & 10 Manuel Antonio National Park
In the morning your shuttle transfer will pick you and take you south to Manuel Antonio National Park area were you will be staying at Espadilla Hotel. Manuel Antonio National Park is famous for its stunning beaches and beautiful surroundings. This place is really beautiful and magical. Espadilla Hotel is 5 minutes walking from the beach and the main entrance to the National Park.
Day 11 Transfer back to San Jose
In the afternoon your transfer will pick you up at the hotel to take you back to San Jose. Overnight at Grand Hotel Costa Rica.
Day 12 Departure
A Costa Rica Cheap Travel representative will be picking you up three hours prior to you plane departure time for your transfer to the International Airport.
